Hi everyone,

Yes, I do mean what I say in the title, although a little background may clear things up.
Before I moved to Sheffield in 2002 I was actively involved in both the Peterborough and Werrithorpe Gang Shows (unofficially otherwise known as South and North Peterborough respectively), both of which as a cast member.
I moved to Sheffield to study and got involved in the movement up here. At my appointments meeting I asked about Gang Show and was told it is something being considered - 6 years later and no result. The chap who was apparently looking into it has resigned through bad health, so I asked my DC if he was still interested in a Show and got the answer "yes, if you are willing to sort it".

So, here I am with very little to start with. I've been jotting down some things from my experience and chats with the cast and crew back in Peterborough (my parents are still heavily involved in the backstage part of it), but I certainly can't organise a Show with myself and the couple of other people that have expressed an interest as none of us have been heavily involved in backstage organisation (although we have some on and off stage experience for the Show itself).

Does anyone have any gems of wisdom that could help me to get going?
I would appreciate any help you can give!

We have just finished Walthamstow Gang Show, and our Show Coordinator is a member of this forum. I will see him later today and see if he has recovered enough, to give you a few helpful words of advice.
If you want to get songs or sketches your best bet is to contact DR. STU as he has a lot of material, and visits a number of shows. We saw him at our show this week.

I Stage Manage our show so am a little limited in my advice as to setting up a show from scratch. But with a little Luck you should get good advice and guidence from the forum.
