The 1932 Gang show at The New Scala Theatre was yet another example of how the Management of the Theatre was able bring to it's 'Middle Class Patrons' 'The Best Amateur Entertainment in the Whole of London'.The May 1927 edition of the 'Dancing Times' had contained a series of Photographs of the Winners of the Dancing Competition Staged at the Scala in March 1927.On Page.145 we find 'The Twizzle Sisters' some years before Ralph borrowed them and put them in his Gang Show act 'Doing Our Party Piece'.The 'Twizzle's' were one of Ralphs most Popular Creations on his Radio Gang Show Programmes where the simpering "girls" would cry out "OH Mr Reader" before telling him just how 'shy they were' and that they 'didn't want to dance incase they showed their knickers'.The March 1927 and the 1928 'Dancing Times' Competition at the Scala Theatre Reported with Photographs in the May editions of 'The Dancing Times' introduced a number of "Little Girls" into the Gang Show over the Years. The number of Creations where Boys Scouts were able to copy hair (Wigs),Make-up,tutu's,knickers and costume established Boy Scout 'Ballerinas' as a vital part of early Boy Scout Troop Shows and Gang Shows before some Producers 'got cold feet' and told "the Girls" to hang up their wigs, tutus, knickers and Plimsolls.Dr.Stu..
