Produced by Albert Locke for Associated Television as part ot the 'Val Parnell Spectacular Series'.this was Ralph at the 'Head of his Game'. There was continuity of Boy Scouts with Fathers who had been in the 1932 London Gang Show and who were introducing Their Sons into 'The Gang'.Performed on an Open Stage Set and retained on a single Telecine Recording. This selection has some wonderful moments and some keynote Performances. 'Stay after School' Performed by Boy Scouts who had been in 'The Gang' since at least 1956 when some of these Boy Scouts had been part of the 'Bubble Chorus'.Performed with such confidence and 'School Boy Cheek' it is certainly one of the gems in the Recording.Another Classic Performance is the Boy Scout Patrol copying the 'Posh Bloke' as he goes to give coffee to his cat !? The bellicose Patrol Leader and the 'four lads' who make up his Patrol are such good cameo players and although each 'lad' is given very little to say it's possible to tell a whole lot about the 'character' of each one.The Patrol Leader went on to play yet another more belligerent Patrol leader in 'Twas Ever Thus' in the 1960 london Gang Show.Ralphs 'Boy Scout' was running at the Albert Hall and the number of Boy Scout Gang Shows being Performed in the UK was estimated at over 1,500 the figure was to rise to over 2,200 in the mid 1960's.Dr.Stu..
