Although this is certainly not how they see themselves, but this is certainly the way I triage their places on my mind map.Having these Authors linked to particular Places,Gang Shows and Locations allows me to place their work in some sort of context. The list is formulated by Tony in Aberdeen and Ewan in Harpenden and contains some of the best writing for the Stage to be found anywhere for the past twenty years. The Collection represents work by about 50 Authors and contains over 600 Scripts. The Importance of this Collection in terms of theatre let alone Gang Shows is vast as it makes the link between Authors who knew and worked with Ralph and who's Contribution may only be one or two pieces but who have a life times experience of these Shows, both at Troop and Group level as well as County Gang Shows. There is a Wonderful Host of new pieces by the 'Scots' (Colin;Tony;Derek;Roger;Gordon;Harry) whom I have calculated have about 300 years of Gang Show experience [if they quirey this figure I shall make it longer!] between them. The List of names is infact a 'Who's Who' of Gang Shows and a handy reminder of Who many of the key players Were and still are even if they no longer Produce for their particular County.Of Course a Good Many on the list will feature in the Sections on Particular Gang Shows where it will be possible to see their unique contribution to this particular 'Art Form'.As BP said "The Show Must Go On" Dr.Stu..
