By the time of the 1932 Gang Show Ralphs Gang was made up of Rover Scouts from a number of different 'London Rover Scout Crews'.This was also true for the Boy Scouts Troops who took part. The boy scouts although small in number were regarded as the "Chorus Girls".The fact that Ralph and the other members of the Gang used to refer to them as such was a matter of custom and practice and not as some abberation caused by Ralph being used to working with mostly Chorus Girls. The Practice of calling the younger boy scouts members of the Gang "Chorus Girls" was taken up in many other Gang Shows and continued certainly until the early 1970's.As Gang Show was located within the idiom of Scouting it was taken up and added to and constructed to fit the particular circumstance of scouting to which it became located. That is to say that it had/has a universal adaptability within all forms Scouting. The "Chorus Girls" were always more potent in that they were 'Boy Scouts'.Gang Show needed no Girls or Women as the Boy Scouts and Scout Masters could create their own more potent models.Dr.Stu..
