Hello

My Name is Kaye, I had involvement with South East Berks Gang Show during my Teenage years (1985-1989/90) and it still holds many fond memories of Pubs, Rehearsals, and people, some sadly no longer with us. I was lucky I was in a Dance Team that although had minor changes along the way the 16 of us were together for the best part of 5 years which meant that we gelled really well. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I am now back involved as a parent as my daughter joined the Scouts at the age of 10 1/2 and was offered a place in the show back in July, she is a changed person, she has come out of her shell and I think is enjoying every minute of the rehearsals for the 2007 show in February. From what I am hearing it sounds like it will bring back some memories for both myself and my brother. I now know what the parents went through on a Sunday!!!

Keith and I have been out of Scouting for the best part of 10yrs now, but now that Hazel has become involved I feel I am perched on the top of a very slippery hill!!

Enjoy whichever show you are in, they are fantastic, and Happy Birthday to all of you. Don't forget to SMILE!

My name is John Grenham, I have just started with the Gang Show this year and am looking forward to it. I am helping out in Backstage i.e. Props and Scenery, I am still also getting to meet everyone and getting to know them well. I sure hope the 2007 show goes well and thanks to everybody who has put this together.

Thanks specially to Ken Buckland who makes a great cuppa of tea!

Hope to see a full house of people coming to watch the show through out the week

Cheers :D :D :D :D :D

lo
Rod is the name. Website design and admin for the Harpenden District and Gang Show. It been my job to look after these and the photo/graphics for around 6 years.
Our show has just finished its 58th show (Jan07) of 5 sell out performances (BO opened on Nov 1st and completely sold out by Nov 4th!!) :D
Often asked what I like about the Gang Show and never come up with a suitable line but probably its seeing the young 'uns on stage and their suddenly realisation that all of the hard work all comes together to produce a show of superb quality. This quality is also down to the dedication of the crew and especially our Producer, Ewan Murray.
You will see that name over the next few months as well with the Festival of Scouting in Nov07

Overheard at our Saturday night performance "how can we have Gang Shows and Bagdad on the same planet?"
Now there is a topic starter...

Hi
I'm Hilary, This is my 3rd year helping out with the admin for The Marple Gang Show.

Our show is always mid-end March (see Advert). This year will be our 43rd Show.

Rumour has it that we are the only Local (as opposed to District or County) group that is entitled to wear the Red Necker. This year the cast will be wearing them for the 29th consecutive year.

If you want to pay us a visit then book early as we are often oversubscribed for our 10 performance show in Marple's own 160 seat theatre.

Hi

Im Becky. I have been in Southend Scout and Guide Gang Show since 2002, and recently took over the running of the website.

Southend Gang Show takes place every other February, and in the years between we hold a show-in-a-day called SHINDIGS (SHow IN a Day In Guiding and Scouting!).

2006 saw our 21st show and celebrated 40 years of Southend Gang Show.
Named 'It's a Date' Southend Gang Show was the first to have girls in it!

Hi my name is Andy I am an ex member of the Grimsby gang show which I participated in on and off for over 20 years starting in 1976 I now sort out the show's website which I have been doing for the last 8 years,
This started out as a page on my own site detailing my involvement in the show until some bright spark in district said " Andy's incharge of the Gangshows website" EH! ?? so after using a free host for the shows own site I decided to sponsor the shows site and puchase a domain this was done as the freehost became unsuitable.

Hello... I am Caz and i am the Director of Canberra Gang Show in Australia.

I've just turned 26 and so i'm no longer a Youth Member as such... but up until recently i was a Rover and a member of the Canberra Gang since 2004.

My team and i are currently putting the final touches on this year's script. We'll start rehearsals next month and our show performs in July. Can't Wait!
